Maca Fights BPH

A recent study found that maca, an herb from South America used traditionally by the Inca for thousands of years, may have use in treating BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia). The study indicates that maca was more effective than Finasteride, a pharmeceutical commonly prescribed to treat symptoms of enlarged prostate. This finding is one more suggestion of the naturopathic advantages of treating human medical conditions with natural herbs rather than synthetic drugs.
