A few people asked about pregnenolone and in response to their questions I'd like to clarify that oral preg is not the best route of administration because it's much too difficult to get the substance into the brain through the stomach and the first pass filter of the liver. Much better is sublingual tablets, readily available on the Internet. For those over 40, for whom preg levels are declining, this is a viable option. The substance is not proven to delay or prevent neurodegenerative disease, although the research is very suggestive of such an outcome. More research is needed, to be sure. But for those who wish to take advantage of its potential advantages and its known benefits (increased energy, mental aledrtness, heightened creativity, better visual acuity, and more) it may be with a try.
