Caffeine Pills

Many athletes take caffeine pills. They find it gives them energy for a workout. In actuality what it gives with one hand it takes away with the other. The pills lead to an increase in cortisol over the long run. For this reason one may wish to avoid them. However, there is no reason why exercising should be avoided. There are other ways to get energy to exercise. One is to sleep sufficiently and maintain a healthy diet and take supplements, such as vitamins and fish oil.
