Coffee Problems

I tried a health experiment last week. I drank coffee for five days straight. One cup a day, except for the last day, when I had two. The thing I noticed was an increased ability to concentrate on whatever I was writing. People could come into the room and I would just block them out and keep working. Marvelous! But the edge wasn't worth it, in my opinion, because of a problem with my sleep. I found myself waking up in the middle of the night or in the early morning. My sleep was shallow. Does everybody suffer like this from sleep disturbances because of caffeine? And then for the three or four days while I was in withdrawal, I felt listless and down.
