New EGCG Capsules

I promised to report on my new EGCG capsules, and I have good news. They are totally caffeine free. I am quite sensitive to caffeine. Even decaffeinated products keep me up at night. So I was wondering how I could get the benefits of green tea (and other teas) without the caffeine. Luckily I found a product that is 100 percent caffeine free. I take two of these a day and don't feel any stimulant effect from them at all. They're called Swanson EGCG Super-Strength Green Tea capsules, and they contain 275 mg of epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate (EGCG). They come 60 to a bottle. The price is right, too. With all the health benefits to be derived from green tea, I am glad I found this product.

Another product, which I have not tried yet, that has no caffeine is called NSI Teavigo (Caffeine Free 160 mg per 1-cap serving). It is sold by Vitacost. One problem with their catalogs, though, is that they usually don't list the ingredients (that appear on the ingredient label) in the catalog.

Conflict of interest statement: I am not affiliated with Swanson Vitamins, the manufacturer of GreenSelect Green Tea Extract, or the manufacturer of NSI Teavigo.
